He does not have any new cards to play to solve maoist problem. He is just waiting for this moment to grab de-jure (he had already had de-facto) power. All international powers are now forced to support his step. Now it is clear why Mohsin met Indian Amabassador yesterday evening. India must have said yes though reluctantly. Same is with EU, while US might have encouraged him to take all powers and run a big military campaign against Maoist.

Likelihood of more bloodshed in Nepal.

Pashupati nath, if you are really there, this is the time Nepal need you most.
