Maile last 2 years turbo tax use garera tax file gareko thiye. Ahile maile thaha paye ki hami jasto non resident haru le online file garna mildaina rahichha. Form 1040 NR mail garera pathauna parne rahechha. Tara yeso garda standard deduction ra exemption napaune bhayekole, dherai nai ghata parne bho. Last 2 years online file garda purai federal tax withheld firta authyo ra kehi problem pani bhayeko thiyena. Tesaile yo pali pani turbo tax use garerai file garna lageko chhu. My question is: Maile turbo tax ma sabai information feed garepachhi, ma american opportunity credit (revised version of hope credit) ko lagi qualify gareko dekhayo. Tesaile maile aba purai federal tax withheld+400 stimulus+1000 education credit refund pauchhu bhanera turbo tax le dekhai rachha. Do you guys think that taking the american opportunity credit will be a problem?

they won't do shit...... unless you started claiming ambiguously, also on top of that if you are filing in paper that will not even bother to look in your filing.........Dude IRS only audits the returns with income of more that $200k if they smell something fishy.......
by the way dude if you are non resident, you can't claim American opportunity, Hope and lifetime learning credit. Falsifying your return is a federal crime.
You can use 1040NR-EZ.
