My OPT and work permit expires on Feb 2016 but I am planning to file TPS. Can I file TPS without requesting for work permit ? Can I file for work permit next year after i get my TPS? There may be a thread on this subject before but I couldn't find any. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

yes you can file TPS without EAD....I don't know what you mean by work permit ? u mean EAD from OPT ?

Yes i have EAD from OPT which will expire in Feb 2016. I am thinking of applying for TPS now but i dont know what should i do regarding EAD I mean if I dont apply for EAD now I will only have TPS but not EAD after Feb 2016. Any suggestions?

well, your OPT is going to expire that means either you have to apply for opt-extension if you qualify otherwise you gotta go back to school if u want to maintain your f1 status. but since you are applying for TPS you could apply for EAD also which would be valid until end of 2016. again, this is only my personal advice not legal advice..
