Actually, I went to clinic for medical service and need to get injection for random virus. They told me that the injection is not covered and I agree and got injected. Also, I have to pay the fee in front for doctor visit and injection which is strange. Now, finally I receive my invoice which mentioned that it is covered and final bill was just $2 where as I paid $100 in the clinic.

My questions is Can clinic dept you before insurance company has been billed? and next thing is how to get refund for that extra amount the clinic made me to pay?

No doubt you went to a very strange clinic. The cashiers office always ask - Would you like to pay now or bill the amount? And always say bill the amount.
